Q. Where should I have the Gold Buying Party?
A. A gold buying party can be hosted anywhere you feel your guests will be comfortable. You can use a house, clubroom, community room or other venues, typically for little to no price.

Q. Should I serve refreshments and hors d'oeuvres?
A. Snacks usually help to settle and entertain your guests, so feel free to. Depending on your guests, it may also be a good idea to offer wine and other fun seasonal beverages. Have fun with picking your party menu! Offer candy bags with gold themed candy for a fun take away.

Q. Do I invite guests with personal invitations, or an invitation package provided by Gold Guys? How many people should I invite?
A. Personal invitations work well. They give you the opportunity to be creative in your contact methods and invitation designs. Feel free to invite guests via email invites or by mail. We have a party invite template in Microsoft Word format that we can email to you to help get you started.

Q. How long do Gold Buying Party's usually last?
A. Allow for individual consultation times of 15 minutes per guest, in addition to mix and mingle time at your own discretion.

Q. What is the incentive to hosting a Gold Buying Party?
A. Hosts receive a commission of 10% if their party sales are $2,000 or more. The commission is 5% for sales under $2,000.

Q. How do Gold Buying Party hosts get paid?
A. The commission check is awarded at the end of the party.

Q. Besides their gold items, what should my guests bring?
A. State or federal issued photo ID is required and your guests must be at least 18 years old. Gold Guys accepts any of the following forms of ID:

* Passport
* Birth Certificate accompanied by photo ID.
